QUANTITY SURVEYOR - STEEL CONTRACTOR - WEXFORD

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a leading Structural Steel Contractor with projects
throughout Ireland and the UK. 

An excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic
Quantity Surveyor to join the team based in New Ross, Wexford and gain
project experience on large scale projects.

Cost Management of one or more projects

Project procurement including issuing tender queries, preparation of
tender reports and appointments in line with construction program to
ensure delivery of project on time and on budget

Preparing monthly project payment applications and cost reports

Monitoring of project costs and agreeing variations with Design Team

Reporting monthly to senior management on the financial performance of
individual projects

REQUIREMENTS

Degree level in Quantity Surveying 

min 2 + years quantity surveying experience working with main
construction contractors

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required

Excellent IT skills
